RECESS

Research shows that recess or 'restorative breaks' are not only important for our kids' academic success but are equally important for us big kids.  Join the Elements DC for unique, local, adventure. We will get outside, active and grounded and send you back ready to tackle the 'to do's'.

Recesses will be a couple of hours in length and sprinkled throughout the year. We also offer custom OUTings. Consider Elements for your next celebration or company 'restorative break'. Be sure to subscribe so you can be in the know of an upcoming events.

Connection & Community; one Woodland Walk at a time

The Elements offers a week of reBOOT walks devoted to you: a week to get outside, active and grounded. All you need to do to reBOOT your mind, body and spirit is lace up and let The Elements DC lead the way.

Our Spring and Autumn reBOOTs are each 7 days long and include unique walks and hikes throughout DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. Outings are scheduled throughout each day of the week. As a Full reBOOTer, you can come on any or all of the offerings or you can register for individual reBOOT walks that suit your schedule or pique your curiosity. Full reBOOTers can also take advantage of the reBOOT Add-ons : the Autumn Little Green guided, seasonal cleanse + Kitch Kat catered & delivered meals and a massage with LMT, Marianne Panke

The result? A stronger, healthier, more grounded YOU!

reBOOTs 2019:

  • Autumn reBOOT: September 29 - October 5

$125 for full reBOOT: any and all of the walks & hikes & Discounted Add-Ons: Massage by Marianne Panke, Little Green Cleanse with Christy Ross and Catering by Kitch Kat (deadline: register for cleanse catering by September 20)

$25: per guided walks and hikes a la carte.

A Rejuvenating Getaway: 2 nights away — $300

Indulge in an invigorating escape. Venture out of town to the mountains of Virginia for heart pumping hikes, paired with delicious food, yoga and stays at luxurious, boutique hotels. The Elements guides do the heavy lifting, literally — by carrying picnics, maps first aid kits etc, and figuratively by curating the routes so you can focus on the beauty! Our priority is your safety but rest assured, fun, adventure and food are all gunning for second place!

We offer reTREATs in both Spring and Fall as well as custom reTREATs for celebrations, reunions or just for the heck of it!.

A Quick Escape: 1 night away — $250

Craving a dose of nature and an easy road trip? Join Elements on a one night/two day reTREAT. We will guide you on two days of hikes and include all the bells and whistles of our longer reTREAT: yoga, and all meals including summit-side, gourmet picnics and 3 course dinner. Options for accommodations run the range from country inn to trailside tiny cottage. You decide and Elements takes care of the rest. Email mrietano@theelementsdc.com to plan your custom escape.

Custom reTREATs

Imagine being able to book a custom getaway for you and a group of your friends — celebrate a birthday or simply celebrate mother nature!
